LOOK AGAIN.
The Trashy Art Museum (TAM) is a nonprofit contemporary art museum dedicated to creative reuse, environmental awareness, and the possibilities hidden in what we throw away.
We use art, humor, education, and imagination to challenge the idea that something loses its value simply because it has been discarded.
At TAM, trash is not the end of the story.
It is material.
It is possibility.
It is a second life.
THE PROBLEM
We live in a culture that throws away too much, too quickly.
THE IDEA
Change begins when we look again.
Through contemporary art, exhibitions, educational programs, and creative experiences, TAM invites people to see discarded materials—and our relationship with consumption—from a different perspective.
THE IMPACT
When we change the way we see waste, we can begin to change the way we create, consume, reuse, and discard.
One object at a time.
One person at a time.
One idea at a time.
LET’S GET TRASHY.
Help us turn waste into wonder.
